Provided the paint work is good and not faded nothing looks beter than a black Flash  - IMHO
And yours looks good.
I had a black Flash in the early sixties. When I did my first retoration some ten years ago I chose Gold as I kind of went off black due to number of scruffy faded ones I kept seeing.
Recently I discovered the bike of my youth is still about, so now I would love to be re-aquainted with it, will it happen, I don't know but every journey stasrt with a single step (Chairman Mao) and my first step would be to sell my first restoration to fund the journeys possible end, sad yes but could be so much fun.
So if any of you spot GSH 360 - let me know - Thanks

Thanks Bill,
I couldn`t agree with you more regards the beauty of black and shiny.
I hope you find your old bike, i`d dearly love to find my first brit (a tiger cub i bought partly dismantled when i was seventeen)                                                                                                                                                        regards, Richie

Very nice indeed Richie... what I specially like about your bike is the flip-up-back seat. None of my A10s have that. I'm looking forward to finishing my Star Twin in a few weeks which will also be Black & Chrome with lots of polished brass bits.

Ah L.J.,
"just like a beautiful woman lying on her side"  a good description for the lines of an A10.
                               cheers,

Someone has to say it, thats a very flash looking bike. Seriously though, it is a very nice looking bike and part of the reason I have decide to paint mine black.

Hello Pim,
I have to say, i hadn`t really noticed the blueness of the photo until you mentioned it, but now i can see it and your version makes the pic sooo much better! I should set up my camera better  wink

                                     cheers,

you can try playing with the whitebalance settings, you can choose from "auto, 5 presets and custom" i'd suggest the auto function. Or when you're outside select the shade/cloud whitebalance setting. this puts more yellow in the image. :) shoot safe;)

Flashblack, nice bike in nice surroundings, and Pim, good job in sorting out the white balance.

e
(As this is a photo-related thread, let me mention I use Canon 450d, and in the beginning had a good dose of blue pics too :O)
