Can anyone advise where the oil supply to the rockers comes from ( the small diameter copper tube).

comes from the return side of the pump, it's taken off from the return as it enters the oil tank, have a look at the tank where the oil pipes are and note the round brass banjo nut just behind the return line, this is the supply to your rockers.
