I suppose the most obvious would be a patch in the shape of the timing case, but whilst the real thing makes for a lovely looking engine. I dont think it would work very well as a patch. Cheers, Iain

I don't know about that, Iain. It could be very cool with some extra touches. However, the first round of patches was inspired directly by BSA emblems, giving those some additional cache'. In any case, if a timing cover version comes out, I'm up for at least one.
Yes, it is amazing how many views the forum gets. Of course, kudos to Erling, though, one could deduce that the increasing scarcity of our bikes and parts could, in part, be due to encouraging new enthusiasts who now see a massive amount of support for bikes they may have previously avoided for lack of same. At the same time, potentially making our own bikes more valuable. (Erling, you're making worlds shake!)
Anyway all this is just chatter while I ride a slow local train home from Chicago.
Cheers and happy 4th to US members. UK members, don't take it personally! LOL.

After re-reading my post, just let me say that I am most pleased that our membership has grown to include such a large number of owners and enthusiasts. (That could have been taken the other way, I suppose.) It makes for great fun, diversity and an amazing wealth of information and a collection of pictures not previoulsy available anywhere.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to tell you that I am to sell and deliver my last two Golden Flash patches! Something that started as fun thing some years ago turned out to be a sucess, not fincially but for all the contacts with you guys. I ordered 100 patches and they are now with 43 GF riders on all continents (apart from the Arctic and Antarctica).
I am hinking of ordering some more, so I would like to have some thoughts on whether this is a good idea, or is the "market" saturated already?
If I order, should I go for 100 again (50 red & 50 black) or 50 (25+25), or should I try provide something else, like what ?
Cheers Nitti

Nitti, Great to hear from you. Let me say to those here who don't know, if you own an A10 or A7, these patches are a must have, in my opinion. They are excellently made and an accessory that gently states that we appreciate our machines "and so should you. " Nitti did this because he thought it would be cool and clearly without monetary goals (unless he has a goal of investing more time than could ever be recouped offering these patches) . If you havent seen them, they are displayed on A10GF'S website at http://www.audioworld.net/BSA/BSAGoldenFlash.htmRichard L.

I have one with the black background on the shoulder of my waxed cotton jacket. No clue what my 650 bitza ever might have been but she's wearing an iron head now.

If Nitti is unavailable/ unwilling to produce any more, I have a source that can do patches, we have a local club and get some done regularly. Maybe a run of A10 timin g case style badges is in order? Interest? Vincent
