Hi Nitti,
I would like a red and a black badge please.
I can pay by paypal.
Manfred

Hey Ho,
I have now approved the prototypes, and is waiting for the patch-batch (sic!) to arrive to the garage here in Stockholm, in a couple of week's time, they say.

I hope that I won't get disapointed, if so, you will definately recognise in the traffic, I will be the guy  wearing a black leather jacket with 100 Golden Flash patches. smile

I'm attaching a picture of the prototypes, hope you like them.

Regards

Hello,
Thanks for your comments.
I have had some thoughts about other BSA tank-badge patches , but have not decided anything yet.
It would be interesting to hear the forum's view on which badge would be most interesting/popular.
To keep the costs down to reasonable levels I have found that a minimum order of 100 is required, so, if you guys can give me a hint on which BSA tank-badge would be most popular to wear on your sleeve, I promise to investigate the possibilities to produce and distribute it.

That's great, I wish I had sold 4064, but, no..
However I have sold about 60, still having about 40 in stock , waiting for the X-mas rush  smile

As you know I'm only doing this for the fun of it, and it is great to see the spread of orders, I'm going global , my main markets are, in volume-order  ;

1. Australia
2. United Kingdom
3. USA
4. Germany
5. New Zealand,France, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway

Sweden ; no orders so far (apart from my own), odd and interesting, particularly since te BSAOC is quite active here and there are several Golden Flashes on the road but I guess they are focussing on the mechanics only, and not bothering about the rest.

Take care
Nitti

Hello,

When visiting ebay today I noted that a Hong Kong based company are selling my Golden Flash patches, the black/gold ones , at least they look identical.

I guess that I should be proud to be copied !

The firm I used for the patches is based in Sweden, I guess that they use an East-asian contractor for the manufacturing and the pattern-software has been "made available" for commerical use.

I do not intend to make a fuss of this, since I do not have any Intellectual Property Rights , and if I had it would not be worthwhile anyhow.

The reason for mentioning this is that I had the patches made without any thoughts of making any profit, just for the fun of it and as a contribution to the Golden Flash community world-wide, made available through this forum.

lol, you should feel proud! Maybe someone looked at the viewing stats for this topic and imagined GF patches must be very big business. Strange really, that this is by far the nr 1 read on the whole forum, long way down to nr 2.

1. Embroided Golden Flash Patch for your jacket ?  5772
2. smiths chronometric speedo guide   3395
3. What goes in this hole then?   3136

Thanks guys, I needed a little moral support when someone is stealing my bread and butter  smiley4

Yes , the statistics is fantastic, I just wish that I had the same number of buyers, but I am very happy with the sales, I ordered 100 patches and still have some left.
What I am most happy with is the geograpic spread, all continents are on the list (apart from Antarctica and Arctica).

The high number of vistitors indicates that there is a general interest in the forum for badges/patches and perhaps that should be recognized.

I know that there is an interest for other type of patches eg Super Rocket.
I was also thinking of a more specific A7/A10 patch that would suit everyone in the community, what do you think, any ideas about the design of such patch , keep the ideas flowing.

See Ya
