Grease nipples are usually BSP threads and are still available so from memory thats the small size which would be 1/8" BSP.

Pretty sure that the nipples used on our bikes are 1/4 x 26 tpi.

They are called "Zerk" or "Teckment" type and are also readily available but about as much use as tits on a bull.
You can only use them with an original piston type grease gun which is next to impossible to get to fit in situ.
