sold for £861!!! Makes you wonder doesn't it.

Certainly does, I have one, did'nt put it on the project as it needs a repaint also the glass is wrong I think, the reflector and lens are the concave Cibie type (spelling?)  just the job for the caf'e boys at the time though - umm £880 plus, worth a can of Halfords gloss black I reckon

Just an ornament for the mantlepiece unless it has the internal socket and QD plug for the loom which I think is unobtainium. Don't think of using that Triumph plug/socket it won't fool us for a minute.

Hiya,
Just for info. it included the wiring loom and the plug and socket.
The seller stated that there was a 4mm. scratch on the ammeter glass,
a slight scuff on the chrome rim, and the handlebar clip for the wired in dipswitch
was missing. I bet even he was surprised at that result! Crazy prices for these bikes
and their parts.  idea Surely an opportunity exists for an enterprising remanufacturer?
Cheers.

Rare indeed and an appreciating possession. Probably worth more kept off the bike than it would increase the bike's value if fitted...maybe?
