I could not resist draining the sump and getting a ride in today. 54 degrees (F) today, a mere 34 degrees warmer than the average for this date in Chicagoland, and 50 degrees warmer than some Januarys I've experienced here. Then, on top of the outragious weather, there is this incredible sunset. After this shot was taken, as you might imagine, I just rode west until the sunset faded out.

 Now that's a nice shot.
At 1000 MPH you could follow it forever.
Cheers

Thanks guys. Taken with my mighty, and long-discontinued, Sony Cycbershot. As I was taking this, a woman stopped her minivan just to say "That's an awsome picture." Didn't ask a thing about the bike.

Muskrat, unfortunately, I was unable to get above 700.

Bill, yes, it's a modern color by PPG (#5725, if your interested.) If I recall correctly, it was available as a color choice for some American car (pre-2003), but I can't recall which one.
