Hello Folks, I'm happy to find the A7/A10 forum, having been an A7 owner for 26 years, someday I hope to put it together and ride it for the first time! As a lad of 18 I bought a basket case 48 A7, well ,part of one anyway. Over the years I've accumulated enough to actually assemble it into a bike of reasonable presentation, and hope by joining your forum will move the project along! I also have a 1954 Golden Flash, and a 1957 Ariel Huntmaster, does that qualify for the A7/A10 content enough? I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada, and as far as I can determine, there are no other longstroke A7's anywhere in my neck of the woods. Cheers, expect to hear more from me! Vincent

Vincent,
Welcome. That's a great collection. Can't wait to see them. Maybe you know the folks at British Cycle Supply, or, are you British Cycle Supply? On the other hand, they appear to be about 100 miles from Halifax (in Wolfsville), so maybe that makes them remote.

Well, I've had mine since '73 (let's call that 38 years) and I don't think I'm even #3 here on the forum in time of ownership. But, duration of rebuild, that's a completely different thing. 26 years may be the winner.

Thanks for the welcome. BCS is about 75 miles from me, I know the folks there and have dealt with them a lot in the past. Not so much in the last 10 years, got married and had kids so just getting back online with getting some bikes together. Only have to finish up a BSA M20 first. I also have a partial basket case 59 Super Rocket, basically a frame, and beat up motor. May be for parts, or future project. Pics will be posted as I go along. Cheers, Vince
