1955 GOLDEN FLASH

« on: 31.12. 2011 15:27 »

Hi Guys
I recently bought this frame for building an A7 long stoke project and upon removing some  paint i found the original colour was gold. NUMBER ZA7S 113##
Could this have been one of the first golden flash A10's
Can anyone help with any parts if i were to try to put it back to A10 Golden flash.
I do like the idea.
Dave

 G'day Dave,
I think you meant frame # is for either 1950 A7 or A10. So you'll be looking for engine #'s ZA7-7001 + or ZA10-101 to Za10-6000. Yes it could have been 1st year GF.
Cheers

Only young once, immature forever. Now how can I make this go faster. '51 A7 plunger, '57 A7SS now A10, '71 A65 Lightning (gone to god) '76 XT500, '83 CB1100F, next project a '64 A65.

Cheers Muskrat
YOU ARE RIGHT I BOUGHT THE FRAME FOR A LONGSTROKE A7 ENGINE I HAVE AND THEN REALISED THIS COULD ALSO BE AN EARLY A10 GOLDEN FLASH. i QUITE LIKE THE IDEA OF A 1950 GOLDEN FLASH I love riding the 55 golden flash and i love the colour.
SO I AM NOW LOOKING FOR ALL THE PARTS TO BUILD THIS ONE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO HOW IT WAS IN 1950.
I will have loads of questions coming up for the forum.
Which rear hub and spindle should i be looking for. (anyone got one)
which centre and side stand is it (anyone got one)
and then of course i will be looking for an early A10 engine from ZA10-101 to ZA10-6000

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
Dave
