Does any forum member have experience of the above for crankcases , etc .
Any addresses or websites , phone numbers , etc , especially in the North West of England ?
Thanks in anticipation ,
Steve...

Hey I'm a new kid on the block and still sussing stuff out like protocol and stuff, but is that something like a hydro-blasting , or soda (sodium carbonate)blasting ? the former I had front hub done and it seems fine for now, have seen another hub ,been sitting at the wheel shop for a few years, looks like it was just done. My mate Kel who does a lot of rest work and is meticulous has a his stuff done by the same guy.
A process that I've been led to believe a certain R.R. (fancy 4wheel maker) uses. Other than that, don't know a lot, except I think it's bead blasted and then water vapour blasted, which seals the alloy pores(and I'm only talking about aluminium casting for now)
Cheers duTch

Hi Steve,
Check out
www.fjmotorcycles.co.uk
for Aquablasting. I found them via a Google search so don't know anything about them other than they are based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Is there an alternative such as a solution giving a similar finish without the concern of grit lodging in an oilway ?
