You know - rebuilding a basket case is actually a form of punishment for being bad in a previous life. And I must have been bad.

Latest saga is that now I have the engine in the frame for the first time, the tank which I have fouls the cylinder head. So far so good (sic) except I have had the tank (probably a single plunger) professionally painted in a beautiful Gold Star metallic silver with lovely Star transfers.

So - anyone out there got a plunger Flash tank they are willing to sell me or p/ex for the painted/laquered one I curently have?

Please?Huh

Alan

Single tanks usually don't have those rear brackets. They have threaded holes underneath. Yours looks the part?

I can find the Indian repro tanks but to be honest they are too expensive for me for what I'm looking for.

keep a look out on ebay. I got a tank for £75 about 5 years ago. Needed rechroming and painting, but it looks great now.
