Recently tried to set up my old mechanical reg after the K-Tec packed up. :'( I set up the air gaps with a feeler guage. (So easy to do these things on the kitchen work top) However I found it hard to set the electrical adjustments, just cant find a meter that reads the small scale.
I dont think its acceptable to 'guess' the settings. so if its not set up precise can damage be done to the Dynamo?
At this moment in time I'm not too bothered with the battery as its old, but dont want to damage a new one when the time comes to fork out!
