G'day Cookie, welcome.
She's not too bad Cookie, a few bits to find and a clean up. The job will be easier with MG close by giving advise and translating.
Cheers

Cookie,

Welcome. English is appreciated, but Google translate will get us through if need be and approved by our moderator and administrator.

Must disagree. Bike not in a terrible state. It truly looks like a great beginning that will come to a great end.

Richard L.

I hope the Google translation says what I meant:

Cookie,

Willkommen.

Welcome Cookie, You've come to the right place to sort your bike out. The knowledge from some of these people is unbelievable with the added bonus of having MG close to translate it's a win ,win situation. My bike came in 3 tea chests so yours looks to be a better project than mine ,that was 44 years ago and i'm still getting pleasure from it even if I can't ride it at present.Best wishes Bob H

Markus,

Yes, I ran Google's translation backwards through the German-English translator and, yes, it does sound Yoda-ish with, "but we are through Google translate". Also, it didn't pick up the "if need be" idiom. Oh well, maybe it gave Cookie a laugh, as well.
