Hi Erling,  I am very impressed with the images of your Plunger A10 which were taken in the mountains of Norway.  When I attend the BSA Summercamp at Bergen in July I would like to arrange a photoshoot with my bike.  I know that you live in Bergen so I am asking if you could suggest a couple of suitable locations for me to try?  Thanks in advance.   Beezageezauk.

Hello & thanks, sure I can provide information, and you will not even need to go far from the camp place to find some 1st class scenery. Send me a reminder when the date gets closer. Anyway, we may meet at the BSA camp (but I may be in France (Provence) at that time). Have a look here for some ideas http://www.audioworld.net/BSA/routes.htm , f.ex the place called Bjørndalen is very close to the camp location. & any route marked in red on the map should give you ample possiblities for nice photos.

Regards
Erling

Thanks for your reply Erling, it was just what I was looking for and I look forward to meeting up with you at the camp if you can make it.

My A10 is now undergoing some preventative maintenance in preparation for the rigours of the mountainous terrain of Western Norway.  Clutch overhaul being the most important followed by a general service and dynamo check.

Is anybody else from the A7/A10 forum going to the BSA Summercamp at Bergen?  If so, look me up and introduce yourself.  Beezageezauk.

Well, the BSA Summercamp at Bergen is over and we had fantastic scenery, fantastic weather and fantastic company.  First impressions were the cleanliness, the low leisurely speeds compared with the UK and the friendliness of the Norwegian folk.

The downside was the daytime running lights that I am not used to and the fact that my Voltage Control Regulator was playing up and the lights on the A10 were tripping on and off, invariably inside a tunnel.  A modern "Solid State" item is now to be fitted in place of the original.  Maybe I should have done the change before I went?

Still, it didn't spoil a great experience and with over 500 miles covered that was the only problem.

Thanks for your information again Erling.  I got the pictures I was hoping for and I will be posting a couple of them in the relevant section in due course.

Ride safely,

Beezageezauk

Hello! & thanks for the post, and GREAT you had a good time, & that the weather was on the BSA's side. Yes, please post some pictures. I am VERY sorry I couldn't attend the meeting, due to a combination of work & health... But so happy it was a successful event, and that the visitors were greated with sun & summer.

Regards
Erling
