 eek
wow, that crank will make for snappy acceleration with the flywheel machined down like that!

Polishing to improve dropping of oil and reduce churning loss, okay. But why would anyone chrome a crank? Journals built up by hard-chromeing maybe?

Chrome doesn't bring you home  lol

Hi All,
Have a look at the alloy head he is also selling  huh2
Neat conversion ex
Its up to $600 with 2 days to go  eek

I wonder is that crank actually chromed or is it just mirror polished??
If Carillo rods were fitted it would account for the large amount removed near the crankpins?huh2??

It's a '54 head like the one on my cafe. I had inlet adapters like those but found the carbs were too close and a bugger to seal. I made longer manifolds (1 1/2") to give a bit more bottom end.
Cheers
