Hi All,
I have started a new thread on rebuilding an A10 SR engine
The timing cases  that I have are in a bad way , the outer is gouged and has a good sized dent ex ex in it
The inner has been welded around the idler gear bush and I believe its out of line

Does anyone have a good set of timing cases to sell or swop?
To compound this the inner is the rev counter drive type, one with the blank lump would be fine??

Heres Hoping

HI Muskrat,
Thanks for the comprehensive list,
I had seen most of them, Several are from the plunger engines
I am going to Founders Day Rally on Sunday 24th and hope that I can find a good set there??
I will also phone Steve at Yeomans and see if he can dig some out for then

The engine is going to have an crank end feed conversion, which means that an alloy block is welded to the inside of the outer cover to feed the oil to the end of the crank
I think its worth getting a good set before embarking on this expense,

I wonder has anyone modified the inner case to rev drive from the oil pump type huh2 huh2

The rev drive inner case has the part number 67- 154 on it

Yes I have seen the inner cover modified to take the rev counter drive, in fact Steve Mcfarlane in Cardif (ex SRM founder/owner) does this modification and it is a lot cheaper than buying an original one from ebay, have you seen the price these fetch!!!. I have now aquired some A10 R cranckcases so will in the near future start building a super rocket spare engine and Steve will certainly be doing that mod as well as others for me.
While I am on this thread I am on the hunt for the s/a engine sprocket absorber set up (I am suffering from a mental block as to the correct name at the time of writing, I really think I have a memory problem these days)the sprocket, sleeve and spring
Thanks
