Hello all. Just thought I'd better introduce myself. Bought a 1962 Rocket Gold Star a couple of years ago. Found myself looking at the A10 forum on how to fix the rocker box oil leaks, cylinder head torque settings etc then decided to join the forum. Been an AJS man as long as I can remember, 7R & 16MS. Used to knock about with a mate in the late 60's with a Super Rocket. He'd take me round all the local bike dealers looking for for a RGS. Now I know what got to him. Finally, could I just say thanks very much to everyone who replied to my recent questions on steel / alloy pushrods.

Howard, if I haven't already said it, "welcome." Just curious, is "Sunbeam" the motorcycle, the Tiger/Alpine or a ray of light coming into your shed?

H Richard. and thanks for the welcome. I wish it was a ray of light entering garage at the moment, may give me a bit of inspiration. Big push to get RGS on the road before our short British summer ends! This is at the same time trying to put AJS 16MS (350 cc single) together, stoving, stainless bits etc. Bike has been an ongoing project for too many years. Looked at the recepts for some parts previously bought for the restoration....1983....can now give forum members some advice, don't start a bike restoration, then move house and have to do DIY!
Sunbeam....It was my Dad's 1968 Sunbeam Stiletto. Still have it and it's a lovely little car.
