My bike has a reg number that starts KGB....
and a frame number that ends .......007
and was made during the cold war.
Don't know whether to call it James or Boris.

Any other interesting combinations on our machines that a numerologist could find a spurious connection with?

On the subject of reg numbers, I wonder what vehicle got registered with A10BSA. This would have been first used on a vehicle registered between August 83 to July 84, so wouldn't have graced a BSA, unless someones bought it and transferred it.

There's bound to be a 666 out there with a nice letter combination (I can't think of one at the moment), as well as a DEV 1 L.

I saw a PEN 1 S on a GT40 in a magazine many years ago, but I'm not too sure it was a genuine number.

A friend nearby has a SuperRocket registered BSA 650 and I'm green with envy!

I had my '51 with BSA-51 but it's now on club plates and the original plate is riveted to my tool box so no one else can get it. smile

I've seen an X-WD B40 with the genuine registration number WDB 40 and a friend of mine has BSA 75G with the "G" looking like a (0) on his 750 BSA.

This brings me to another question.

In the UK, as a front number plate is no longer a legal requirement, how would one stand in the eyes of the law having say....for an example,  ABC 123 as a genuine registration on the rear of the bike and BSA 650 on the front??

Also, I wonder if a UK vehicle is registered with the more modern number  A550 LES or A55 OLE.  The mind boggles!!
