What degrees for good timing?

Hi all.
I read in tech topics about the good timing. I need you help for timing for BSA A10 650 with swing arm frame.
I but timing in 32 degrees.Is this ok ?

G'day Renos,
depends on the type and quality of the petrol over there. Std is 35 degrees but a lot of people (me included) report pinging on unleaded. Retarding a few degrees helps this. The general rule is to run as advanced as possible without pinging.
But in saying that, Richard reports best power is gained at 30.5 degrees. So yes start with 32 and see how she goes.
