Welcome ageing biker from yet another ageing biker. I think that because there is a real mix of ages using this forum that makes it good. If you make a search on the forum you will find lots about wet sumping it always causes a talking point. All the best.

hello again, just got back from Lanzarote, few pound lighter and a few pound heavier, I would rather have spent it on the bike but you know how it is. any how quick update, I got the engine and gearbox out, will be sending those to a mate for a checkover, took the head off and its on +60 which I think is max oversize, whats the best route if it needs a rebore, also any tips for cleaning out oil tank, any advice greatly appreciated, cheers ab

+80s are about although some say there's not enough barrel metal left to fit them, others say they are heavy - don't know you would think if they make them they should be ok. I went for liners and a return to standard, was obviously more expensive than a re bore but not twice as much
