"Cafe Racer" Discovery Turbo Channel

This is a new series on the Discovery Turbo Channel 523, not sure when it started.
The concept is around the genre of cafe racers with mainly American specialists showing off their custom machines. There's loads of reference to The Ace Cafe but most of the filming is Stateside.
Of the 6 half hour programmes I've watched it was mainly Japanese machinery that featured but there is one guy in New York, 80 year old Sid Biberman, taking a stock 1958 A7 up to what looks to be a very authentic conversion complete with 650 top end and all the necessary clip ons, rear sets, alloy tank etc.
He discarded the original mudguards which I would have been pleased to have acquired.
I think the next show covers the bike being put through it's paces.

i've watch all of them,they put the streetfighter builder on the a7 cafe racer,it was hilariuos,he couldnt get used to the brake and gear change,and no disc brakes,he couldnt wait to give it back,lovely metisse cafe racer biult by the japanese guy.

Hilarious that they thought that's how you make a show.  Just give the bike to someone slightly less dopey who can ride it.

G'day all,
            been looking every where for a download of it. Been misled to one site and paid $ but no files. Don't suppose any one has been taping it to put up on rapidshare or hotfile ?

i think you'll be disappointed in it really - i certainly was
  - its really a promo for "care-racer" magazine and a very half-asssed attempt, at least in the episodes i've seen

                I'm a glutten for punishment. I'll sit through 55 minutes of crap just to catch a glimpse of a real bike (A7/10). I think I saw that mag last week at the newsagent. Will take a look.

Yeah, I agree with all of the above, but I still watch it 'cause there are a few bits that do show British bikes.  Some of those guys "get it" and there's nothing else like it on TV.  Perhaps this will fuel some ideas for a proper "Classic" bike show!??  Caw!  Rich

I'm surprised someone hasn't done a proper Classic Bike Show.
It could be on the net. Doesn't need to be on television.
