The V-Reg 11 Regulator is indeed a very good Reg. I have one on each of my bikes, you fit and forget! I bought both from Alan Osbourne at AO Services http://www.aoservices.co.uk/data/v-reg.htm

Cant remember how much I paid for them, but the website will more than likely show the prices. Another useful gadget that I purchased from him, and that is a battery status monitor, this will show the state of charge held in your battery and the output of the dynamo. Very useful and a peace of mind.

I see they have both 6 & 12 v versions that fit inside a mcr box. Suppose there is no heat problems even if enclosed in a small box?
