I've been off on my travels again, touring France, Germany & Austria. In Limoges I met up with Jacky, a fellow Velocette owner from the LE website. When I arrived at his house he was loading his 1917 Harley 1000 onto a trailer ready for a veteren run the next day. He talked me into going pillion on the run so we were off at 6 am the next morning. I'm usually quite a nervous passenger but Jacky is a safe enough rider, despite him insisting on setting off last and finishing first at each leg of a 90Km run with several stops! I suppose the Harley was one of the biggest bikes there and possibly the fastest.
