Hello everyone. This forum was truly a fortunate and outstanding find. I currently own a '68 A65, '74 Triumph Trident and a '59 BMW R50 and was not in the market for another bike although I never really stopped looking. My wife and I enjoy hunting through tag sales and last summer I was going through Craig's List for interesting estate sales and came upon one advertising an "early 60's BSA in parts--best offer". We got there in record time and I found a hoarder's paradise. Tucked in the back of a dark 2-bay garage was the BSA, mostly whole with most of the rest in boxes nearby. My thought was worst case--I've got some Ebay sales material. I inspected what I could with my flashlight, wrote down the serial number, made an offer and was told I'l be contacted thenext morning if I was the successful bidder. Back home I identified the serial as a '53 A7.  Next morning, no call but that afternnon the phone rang and I returned with my trailer in tow.

Please accept a jealous welcome from me and, I think, many others here. Can't wait to see photos so as to enrich my personal shade of green. I bet it's "wicked".
