Does anyone know where I can get small quantities of the steel countersunk rivet used in the Magneto auto advance. Can source brass rivets cheaper but don't know if these are up to the job. Steel rivets in this application look over the top to me.

Thanks

I see Cumbria Stu, got to be agricultural machinery dealers somewhere nearish, rivets are used to keep reaper, combine knife blades on, might be more than 3/16ths but worth an ask

Stu,
If you have a lathe or access to one, make them.
I make the rivets to hold Altette point assemblies in place in no time.

I have been looking for a supply of rivets and found this place http://www.sapphireproducts.co.uk/, thought this might be of interest to others. They do say 'Small Quantities are Our Speciality'.

This is the page for imperial c/sunk rivets http://www.sapphireproducts.co.uk/641t6.htm

I like the bit where you "click on the rivet to interact". Always wanted to interact with a rivet.....

Seriously, looks like a good site and close to me (and Armoury Road). But I've now taken the plunge and gone for a recon ATD from Roy Price in St Neot's who comes highly recommended.
