Hello,

I'm making up mudguard stays for my A7 plunger. Can anyone advise what the gauge of the steel tube is for the front and rear stays? Alternatively whats the o/d and the thickness of the flatened part of the stay?

Cheers

I've just made some rear brackets for my 49 A7 plunger to hang some RAF small packs on. I found electrical conduit to be of a perfect size about 20mm I think, not sure of the inside diameter. They were the nearest match I could find.

I made rear stays from 3/4" hydraulic tube, 1/16" wall thickness.
The front are 7/16" tube which I have not been able to source anywhere. Most of the pattern ones I have seen are made from 1/2" tube.
