UPDATE:
Picture posting + Avatar uploading: now enabled from start of membership, as the current registration routines seems to keep unwanted 'members' away.
PM: New members can read Personal Messages after registering, sending is activated after 2 posts.
----------
Due to some security issues (forums worldwide are under constant intrusion attempts from hackers and spammers) new members must have more than 5 posts to activate personal messages, upload an Avatar, upload pictures or see memberlists + profiles and forum statistics. This comes in addition to the need for membership approval from mods before posting is allowed.
After the initial 5 posts:
Avatar: Profile > Forum Profile Information. Posting pictures : in the post screen: Attach > Browse (to a file on your computer), and continue using more attachments for more pictures. See Posting of Pictures for info.
----------
For new (and some old) members, please remember the agreements you agreed upon, if you want to stay anonymous or have nothing to say, browse the forum as a guest. Seen from the admin side, no posts = possible lurking spammer / hacking attempt in the waiting / attempts at extracting email lists / password hacking / illegal use of PM etc. 0 posts = 0 membership.
Sorry for all this, it's all done to secure the forum continuity and positive growth. I try my best to keep things clean here, for everyone's (except the hackers) benefit. -----------------
