Timing again

Me again, I'm checking the timing, with the engine in the right place and looking at the points, they should just be opening with the auto advance towards full advance, is that the same as twisting the points assembly clockwise the same direction as the engine runs?

Yes, the points should be set to open in the full advance position. Looking at the points, the breaker assy should be twisted counter to/against its rotational direction (which is opposite to engine rotation).
