Gents,

My headlight ears got bent when the bike was knocked over a while back. You might remember the story. I was wondering if anyone has some or knows where I can get original ears like those in the attached photo. In any case, can someone tell me what the part number is for the ears in the picture. (Yes, I know BSA liked to call them "sleeves" but "ears" seems the popular name.)

By the way, I'm not throwing away the old ones, it's just that they are from an A50 and I see this as a good opportunity to up my "A10" factor.

Hi, manosound
I got a set from Autocycle Engineering in Dudley (Birmingham)
They are the correct ones and have a round hole for the headlamp bolts not the slot as on the later A50/65

John,

Thanks for the info, I will try to contact Autocycle. I'm still interested in knowing the part number, if someone has it, so I can do a broad internet search.

Richard,
Those part numbers are:-  42-5317 & 42-5321.  Left and right respectively.
