Yes the A7/10's were well represented and there were quite a few M's in military & civilian dress a couple of OHV V twins, 1 round tank, lots of B's and the usual flock of bantams. That A10 is the one Wilco put up on page 1 with a different seat, it runs really well. I'm sure Trevor will have more pics and info when he returns. Cheers

Hi Muskrat Great pics and it looks as if you all had a good time Regarding the B66, It must be some heavy lump only today I ws stripping down a B33 engine and said to myself that the weight of the iron head is something else with two of them theres no risk of getting that front wheel airborne Cheers John O R

Yes John, my mate said it was heavy at stand still but once under way it felt sooo gooood. It's in a modified A10 frame. It was featured in Old Bike Australia a few months back. The ear at the front of the primary is an electric starter. It has more pull than a 14 year old, nearly 1200cc of grunt. Cheers

Jump on a jet and pop down for a ride. Doug was just about the only bloke who did not ride it on the weekend. Photos are up on Tim Munro's web site http://timmunro.com.au/Motorbikes.htmThat is Alex on the top with a 71 A65T. Rally was good, I think, spent most of the time in the kiosk. This is why we hire a photographer for the rally. He looks like getting 3 pages in AMCN next issue. Kay was there as well & she shoots for Real Classic & Old Bike so we should get some cover from them as well. I got some shots of the Sunday run which I will put up on Photobucket a bit latter on.

So what happened to you lot on Friday? Shane & Steve were all fired up but no turn up.
For those who want to know the black A10 with the leather bags on the back was Steves ( who waited and waited for Musky & the crowd to turn up) some one obviously let Denny take the lead. Any way back to Steve's bike. He has done 5 nationals on it and rode to every one of them including a 2000 km run each way to Goolwa. He reckons that the belt drive was the best thing he has ever done to it.
We had 10 A10's , 7 rockets ( A10 type) & 7 A7's so the pre unit twins were well represented. There was also 7 V-Twins, almost like being at Sturgis and 8 slopers, 1x Q 7 ridden by Malcom Mackay, yes that Mal the ex UK speedway rider, 10 goldies , 8 M20/21 , 6 b31/33 , 5 unit singles , 4 bantams ( including a rider on his L's who had ridden the bike 55 km before the rally) , 7 firebirds , 8 lightnings , 5 thunderbolts , 5 spitfires , 4 A75's , 3 specials ( including the B66 ) 4 chairs 1 B2, 1 R19 ( I think) And i have got this wrong or forgoten something because that should add up to 113 and it don't

Great photos, but just one question, why has everybody sensible helmets ? Because Australia pioneered the manditory helmet laws. The further to that , all helmets must have the current Aust safety tag, if not the plod gives you a massive fine ( $150 or there abouts) and will not allow you to mount the bike and Australia is a BIG country to push a bike in. The rally was on a long weekend where we have double demerit points which is 8 for no helmet ( out of 12 ) and these now stay on your license for 3 full years. On long weekends, every cop is on the roads, many in their own private cars as the state is a bit short of cash so riding in an "age appropriate" hat is not an option.

G'day Trevor, we missed them by 15 minutes. Campbell on the Goldie was road captain. He took us up over Kangaroo Valley then around through Thirlmere, The Oaks and Walacia to the meeting place at Luddenam. I think Steve took the boring Putty Rd, we went via Wisemans Ferry and Mangrove Mountain so took a little longer but lots more bends. Campbell & Denny came home via Orange, Mustard and myself came down the Putty and got soaked. Cheers

And if you went that way you rode straight past Shane's place. He is on Silverdale Rd just before the round about.

For the locals as I doubt that AMCN would be available OS except in NZ and they are sort of the country. Hi Trevor, The Beezas Behind Bars piece is out now in AMCN. We got 4 pages in the current issue 27Oct-9Nov 2010. Enjoy. Regards, Tim Tim Munro Photography - AIPP Member Phone: 0417 264782 www.timmunro.com.au
