Hi,
I am looking at a genuine headlight for my '52 A10 with the underslung pilot light.
Just wondering whether it is worth the price Aus$450, I have seen the link on this site to a reproduction unit from the UK for 50 pound, are they as good as the original? (not after a nut and bolt perfect bike this time around, just don't like spending on things that don't work or don't fit)

I've used a couple of those repro headlights on bikes and they are not bad. Unless you are hell bent on 100% originality then definitely go for one. $450 is too much even for a original.

Can recommend this product and supplier, will need repainting when you get it.
