Hi all. A bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for an Inlet Manifold part no 67-1112 as used on the early Shooting-Star 54-55. Any suggestions most welcome. Thanks, Peter

Hens teeth, rocking horse poo. I've got one not in use you could borrow, but I'm in OZ.
Cheers

Hi Muskrat. Thanks for the offer but at this stage, I'll hang out for one to buy. I had considered having some cast but I suspect demand would be very low, I know they are rare but how many people would be looking to buy one. I have seen them go through on US ebay, when I didn't need one of cause. Regards, Peter

Peter,
Would you believe that the same part was used on the Road Rocket?

Hi Trev.
Yes, I was aware of that, but only on the early export models (mainly in the US) I think thats the reason I've seen them on ebay US. The manifold would become a redundant part if you were to fit twin carbs. If any users happen to notice one listed anywhere, please let me know. Regards, Peter

Hi All,
This is the chap I got the replacement 1549 head from, Sound to deal with, and quick delivery
I would however ask him to use extra packing if you buy the head, those US post "cardboard" boxes are really not suitable for a valuable item like an easily damaged alloy head, that said mine arrived safely!!
