Use thumbnails links only, large embedded pictures not allowed on this forum.

For those choosing to use a picture hosting service (instead of uploading to the forum), am kindly asking everyone to use thumbnails links only, as postings of large photos has a tendency to 'hijack' the topic, loading time increases (big problem for those with dial-up or slow connections), makes it much less readable, and lots of scrolling to get trough some 1 meter deep posts if there are several pictures.

Use of the small thumblinks must be to everyone's advantage, especially for those reading forums using some slow connection, as they then can choose which pictures they want to see full size. Thanks for your understanding.

It's standard practice in any good forum, and as far as I know, all image hosters offers the thumbnail linking. No extra work involved, as a link have to be copied and pasted anyway.

As apparent, posts become very clean and readeable, and loading time for the topic\post decreases dramatically.
Below are some tests of direct paste of some thumb links (some random images):

Embed thumbnails of this image > Forum

Text in between no problem.

Share this image > IMG Thumb
alt: Share > (see) more (options) > Get link code > IMG for bulletin boards & forums > Clickable thumbnail

So both these popular hosting sites provides thumblinks that works fine in this forum program. Any image hosts have this thumb option, please look for it, and use it.

Thanks
