Hi everyone.
Well, I have tried to get my hub repaired, no luck I'm afraid. so if anyone out there knows of a 190mm cast iron front hub (new, old, pattern, etc, etc), I need one. There are some places making pattern ones, there is one in Victoria (out of stock and too busy to manufacture new ones). There must be a couple ouit there surely. Please let me know.

Hi folks,
Just to let you know, that after a LOT of internet work, I maad to find a 190mm front hub At Briitish only in Austria!! they havvnntock, and ar as I can tell, certainly from the feedback from dealers and alike, these are about the only 4 on the planet at the moment. They are brand new pattern ones complete with backing plate, brake plate etc. At 499 euros good value as well. including the postage its just under 500 pounds.
should get it next week, very happy!!!

G'day Mark,
Thats about $840 AU !!! You must want one bad. I must be living in the old days, if you'd have asked me a guesstamate the price I would think half that. Hope it's good and fits.
How about some progress pics.

No choice I'm afraid, its a bit steep, but its complete, and its cheaper that the complete wheel I was offered ($2000 for a complete one). The postage is about $100 dont forget!!
It will fit, at least it means I can carry on. I would like to get it back on the road. All I need then is to get the head back (with recut valve seats, new valves etc).
I tried to post photos, but it wont let me, says the file is too big, even with one photo!!

G'day Mark,
right click your photo, mouse over send to, click mail recipicant. It will ask if it can resize, click yes. Mail prog will come up and photo will be an attachment. Click file at the top and save attachment to where ever you want ( I have a folder named post pics). close email prog. Now the photo's are small enough to post here. Clear as mud.

Hi RGS man,
I suppose in these days thats not too bad a price, this guy is not known to sell things cheap!!!
I looked up Phil Pearsons lists when I saw you were looking for a hub, he only has TLS brakeplates complets at £425
interesting stuff none the less, http://www.bsagoldstar.co.uk/default.html

Cheers
