Congrats to Roger (alias maxwelton), this picture and this bike, very worthy winner, IMO.

Not fair. He had Puget Sound to use as a background! Luckyyyy!

Anyway, congratulations to Roger. Erling is correct, a beatiful bike in a beautiful place and a photo taken with skill.

Well done.
I voted for it too. Looks beautiful.
Funnily enough my 2nd choice was one of a plunger flash too...yet I own a non standard swing arm.
Guess you always want what you don't have.
Cheers,
Iain

I've been completely wrapped up in work, restoring one of the MGs, and alas the bike has been stashed away until today. Bad me!

I got the old girl out today, fit the "new" side-stand, and was tempted to refill the oil reservoir...

Many thanks for the oil and consideration of my original photo, better than this "at dusk" quickie! I'll be bringing the bike up to Vancouver B.C. for the show Saturday at the Van Dusen gardens, stop by and say hi if you're in the neighborhood.

Really nice bike. And thanks for posting the prize-photo.
As an anecdote, the oilcan traveled from usa to norway, now back in usa.

& it's a new year, so to all here, prepare bike, camera and photo skills for the 2010 contest !
