Maybe this is an observation all too obvious to our administrator, but the Forum growth rate has been incredible. It took around 34 months to get to the first 100 members, while the last 141 have come aboard in about 13 months (and that doesn't include dropouts). I believe it is a real testament to Erling's idea and to the hard work that has gone into keeping it a great place for us to gather.

Thanks, again, Erling.

Indeed it is a great forum and one of my first visits of the day... However there are still many who are not aware of the A7 & A10 forum and I cannot understand why those owners who have computers have not found us yet. Over the weekend I was talking to an A10 owner about the horrid  back brake cable, I mentioned to him that there is a good fix and is mentioned in great detail on the "A7 & A10 forum" Didn't know it existed was his reply. Wonder if he'll join us?

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Erling for all his hard work that makes this forum a place for like-minded people to meet, discuss and have fun.
I'm relatively new here, but I must say it is one of the first forums I attended where I really feel comfortable to be part of.

clap clap clap respect yeah beer

Cheers, Markus

The first place I go morning and night. A must for any A7/10 owner or admirer.
Erling deserves a Knighthood.
Cheers

Some info about the state of things.

Total member reg attempts is above 700 (would have been in the 1000's if there was no anti-spam measures).

Of the over 700 that ended up registering or applying for an account, roughly 65% denied or deleted after a period (spammers\hackers or non-posters). As mentioned earlier, few (but good) members is the goal.

Growth of forum is best appreciated by looking at posts \ visits figures, f.ex. Jan 2007: 94 posts \ 13000 page views, Jan 2010: 747 posts \ 83000 page views.

Top list 2009:
New topics: August 2009: 139
New posts: June 2009: 1104
Page views: October 2009: 85631

We have lots of guest visitors looking around and finding help here, so keep the good posts coming, remembering it's not only read by members, but also seen by a large A7-A10 owners community.

On the tech side, the hoster has upgraded it's servers, downtime and crash problems (had my dose of scares...) seems to have been eradicated. Am slowly planning to move the forum to a dedicated domain.

Thanks
