IE8 has a bug that affects a lot of sites. And Microsoft new about it all the time so they had to provide this built-in fix: in IE8 click Tools > Compatibility View Settings > add audioworld.net (and any other site you may have experienced worked fine in IE6 \ 7 but showed strange behavior in IE8).

No problems here on my computer.... perhaps it is because I'm using Firefox, a good browser all round.

LJ,

Actually, I think the reason that you're not having a problem is that, unlike myself, you are one of those smart people who can say what they need to in few words. The problem I expereinced with IE8 was in typing long posts that exceeded the typing area, like the area I'm typing in right now. When you get past the bottom of the area, you can still type, but the area does not scroll to follow, so you type blind.

Hmmmmm, I understand what you are saying Richard and that problem still does not arise with Firefox. If I am going to type something long I usually type it out in a word processor and copy paste to this typing box within the forums 'Post reply'.... That might help you.

I really have not used Internet Explorer for quite a few years.

You have not missed anything. imo, Firefox is better, faster, safer, and with the personal choice of Add-ons to make ones 'own' version, it becomes fantastic.

For ie8 set the Compatibility for any website that may need it, and all works again like it did in previous ie versions.
