Hello, a few words from behind the keyboard.

As you see, a few new categories have been added, think most areas of discussion and topics are well dealt with.

There has been no need for moderation whatsoever, very glad to see there are only good guys on this forum.

And of course, there are quite a lot of hopeless idiots who try to register false membership accounts to post spam or other garbage, they are so far well taken care of behind the scene, and blocked or deleted before doing any harm. To give you an idea, of 93 membership applications over half were fakes angry. So you understand why guests cannot post nor are given any access privilege, and why verified membership and rules are necessary.

Technically all is well, have never noticed any downtime, login problems or lost posts etc. Backups are taken regularly, so if anything should explode there would be some downtime but not much would be lost.

The page views pr day (any visit to any available page on the forum, including login, help, search, PM, posts etc) is very positive smile, lately varying from around 250 to over 700 daily (some search robots from yahoo etc count for some of them), and around 21.000 ex readings of posts so far. Many guests are browsing the forum regularly, from all over the world. So I hope we can give them more to read and see, and that many of them can join over time.

Would have been nice if some of the "sleeping" members sleepy would take a step forwards and post a few words now & then.

Anyway, have a fine day & thanks to all who have contributed  smile

Regards
Erling

Thank you, makes it worth the work. You have yourself contributed lots of good material here. And as we have discussed before, you are welcome as forum moderator, to help keep the forum in good shape and free from unwelcome activity and spam.

The forum does not need to be big, it needs to be good. Thanks for taking on the task.

Regards
Erling

My hat is off to both of you for providing us with a place to seek advice and solutions to everyday problems, and allowing us to share positive experiences to help stoke the motivational fire.

Good job! yeah

I would also like to show my gratitude for the amount of effort that Erling has put in to ensure that this is one of the best forums of its type.

It is satisfying to see it growing at a steady rate, but not too quickly, which helps to show the friendliness of all those who are involved.

I am sure that this is apparent to the new members and could be a deciding factor for some of them before they join.

My congratulations go to Lawrence on his moderators position.  I am sure that he will be diplomatic and as thorough as he needs to be in order to carry out his role.

Keep up the good work.  It hasn't gone un-noticed.

Beezageezauk.   clap
