..than my usual. Finest? I guess we'll see.

Shot this a few hours ago down at Maxwelton Beach, nearish my house. My little pocket Casio Exilim is a great little camera (this is an older one) but low-light photos are not its strength, so to have anything come out once the sun is down is a bit of a miracle.

The bike wears a British Reg as it was delivered and lived most of its riding life in Bridgwater, Somerset. I have no history of its time there, other than it was used for sidecar work, as I suppose most plungers were after the swing-arm was introduced.

Knowing nothing about photography, my eye tells me that that is a very interesting photo shot. The colours are all very similar other than the switched on rear light, the dull red reflector and the red tank lining. The angle of the front wheel is just right with the bright white lettered front number plate. That number RYC reminds me very much of 'Royal Yatching Club' That in itself gives the bike some class.

I think anyone is going to struggle to beat this photo.
