Could probably at a pinch get a bike that worked for that.
Even one you could use.
Or a whole house. With garage.
Glad I live in another world.

It was suggested on another forum that all he's really trying to do is sell some calendars.

well,it left me in a state of shock also!,the picture concerns me as it looks like a publicity shot rather than one of the bike itself,if i was selling ANY bike i would show as many pics of the actual bike as possible.the engine number itself is certainly the first M24 Goldie but how do we know it isnt a differant unstamped crankcase half simply restamped.the Gold Star name came from one Wal Handley who set a lap record and was awarded a Gold Star but the bike he was on was a 1937 Empire Star,of which i have recently seen one of the same year advertised for sale at around the £3,500 mark!i think you are buying a lot of historical provenance rather than the bike itself but this has been the case with Manx Nortons etc for many years but personally i would buy a bike for what it is rather than who has ridden it.

Thats the second one of these that I have seen for sale here in Aus recently, funny thing is they both have the same engine number. JM24 101. Someone is being a bit naughty I think.
